A traditional Oxford shirt, as good as the original Ivy ones: robust and casual, with a natural, slubby variation in the texture. Wears in beautifully; lasts forever.

Inspired by the vintage Oxfords made by Brooks Brothers and others in the 1950s and 1960s, the PS Oxford uses a fabric woven in Italy exclusively for Permanent Style, combining robust, traditional yarn with finer cottons in the warp – rugged yet luxurious.

Made in a Naples atelier supervised by bespoke shirtmaker Luca Avitabile, beautifully handcrafted with hand-sewn collars and armholes, buttons and buttonholes. Cut to a moderately slim fit.

The collar has been developed by Simon through his bespoke shirts – shaped to curl outwards and frame the face when unbuttoned, and sit around the knot of a tie when fastened.

Material & Care
  • Composition: 100% cotton
  • Yarn: 1/10 x 2/90
  • Weight: 250g/metre (dress fabrics are typically around 200g/m)
  • Pre-washed, but expect some shrinkage – around 1-2cm on sleeve length, 2-3cm on body length. Oxfords are cut slightly larger to accommodate this
  • Cold wash, hang dry
  • Vintage mother-of-pearl button
