A traditional oxford fabric, robust and casual, with a natural, nubby variation in the texture. Wears in beautifully; lasts forever.

Inspired by the vintage oxfords used by Brooks Brothers and others in the 1950s and 1960s, it is woven in Italy exclusively for Permanent Style. 

For bespoke shirts, most oxfords on offer are smooth and fine, aimed at a business customer to wear with a worsted suit or jacket - which makes it hard to find something traditional to make up bespoke. 

The PS Oxford fabric fills that gap, and is available in 2-metre cut lengths.

  • Fabric is pre-washed but there may be some shrinkage. We suggest advising a shirtmaker to add perhaps 1cm on the sleeves and 2cm on the body length - or whatever they advise.
